2025 Artist Registration

Registration for our 2026 show is open!

The Chesapeake Spring Arts Festival is BOTH a fine arts show AND a crafts show.  We have two different applications, one for Artists and one for Crafters.  What is the difference?  It’s a gray area really and hard to define, but generally speaking, if you are creating works of art or jewelry from raw materials then you would qualify as a Fine Arts vendor.  If you are making a work based on pre-made materials, then you should probably apply in the Craft category.

We will not disquailfy anyone from the Fine Arts Category just based on your process, but we always get more applications than we have slots, so the competition is tight.  Many creators work in a medium that could go in either category.  For example, there are metal sculptures that are definitely fine art, but there are also metal creators that might be a better fit in the craft category.  It’s really up to you which you apply in.

Only creators in the Fine Arts category are eligible for show awards.

Fine Arts vendors will get a booth along the sidewalks in the park.  The Craft category vendors will be in the grassy upper circle area.
